Oooh look at this awesome vintage trailer! I found it for sale about 4 hours from me...not sure of the make... But the color KILLS me...aqua and PINK! It's so freakin' adorable. I would keep the paint original and just give her a good scrubbin'! I wonder what shape the inside's in...
I'm really tempted here... The asking price is a bit over my budget ($900)...but maybe they'd take $500-ish? I'm so tempted here! What do you guys think?
I dream of a trailer like that! It's perfect! I just want to put it in my backyard with my pink glider in front of it. It would be like a playhouse for me! You should TRY to get it at least!
ReplyDeleteOh my oh my! Sooo perfect and cute. This has to be divine intervention. Offer less, but I would jump on it! I just have a little Boler from the '70's, but it's my lil playhouse, and some day I may just take her out for a spin! Zootsuitmama
ReplyDeleteWow! Drive it to Hollywood, please. What a great guest house
ReplyDeleteit's cute, but totally depends on the inside. ask the seller to send you pictures of the interior.
ReplyDeleteJust discovered your blog and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the vintage trailer! I'd buy it as long as it was roadworthy, and do the inside up! Oh - and keep the beautiful colours on the outside!
ReplyDeletethat is soooo cute! I can't resist a vintage trailer. My mom had a 69 airstream and sold it last year, it was very sad. I'd love to see a sweet little trailer like this get a loving home :)
ReplyDeleteHaha having a blog is dangerous! Now I have people telling me to go after all the vintage things I find! But I totally agree...this thing is just too special! The condition of the interior is important, so hopefully I can get some pics from the seller... I don't think I can resist though..I mean it's PINK and AQUA!
ReplyDeleteI hope that by the time you read this you're the proud owner of that little cutie-pie of a trailer! I'd pay $900 in a nanosecond for it!
ReplyDeleteWaaaahhh... I just called the guy and she's sold...only lasted about a week. UGH she was GOOD! It's sad, but at least I got some eye candy out of it...
ReplyDeleteOh course now I have an excuse to follow a lead on a 61' Shasta Airflyte...I thiiink I could get it for $700 in excellent original condition, with original 2 tone aqua/white paint scheme and a Z stripe down the side! And wings!
it's 2013 now and just saw your blog, that was a Cree trailer, I got one for $100.00 last month she was stripped from all her interior, well I mean the stove-sink-refrigerator-toilet, the previous owner used it as storage and I had to clear all out that was 10 large garbage bags of junk.. now she sits in my backyard and I do not know where to start, she needs lots and lots of work....
ReplyDeleteCan you tell meanythingabout the Cree? How did you identify it? I think that it might be what I have.
